Friday, March 27, 2009Open source projects started and contributed to by only one developer rarely gain the momentum required to carry a project into the wider public sphere of interest. If open source projects wish to survive and evolve without relying on any one sole participant they will have to attract the time and attention of passionate core contributors. The Glasgow green map is a Rails/Google Maps/Government and community data mashup that presents all available clustered ecological information available within Glasgow.
