Ruby in the home? This presentation introduces ruby for home automation. We will walk through a DSL that is setup to control various devices throughout your house.

You will be able to:

  • Setup scenes
  • Dims lights
  • Figure out who is at your door and take necessary actions using Ruby.

Using the R-House gem you will be able to integrate these features in a web application and control devices throughout the house using your iPhone.
