JRuby Support gives you direct access to the JRuby experts at Engine Yard. We provide advice on how to best take advantage of JRuby in your environment as well as troubleshooting assistance, including prioritization of bug fixes. Engine Yard Support for JRuby is available for 12-month terms and begins at $2,000/month.
Support Coverage
JRuby Support coverage is applicable to applications built or integrated with JRuby and the associated libraries listed below. When your application is a hybrid of Ruby code plus non-Ruby code running on a JVM, we will assist with any Ruby code and, where applicable, Java code or other JVM code that uses published JRuby APIs (the org.jruby.embed package).
When your Ruby code makes use of third-party APIs via JRuby's Java integration facility, we can also help troubleshoot issues that appear to be related to the way JRuby calls Java code.
| Supported Environments | |
|---|---|
| JVMs1 | Sun JDK 5/6, OpenJDK 6, and the most recent versions of IBM and Oracle JRockit JVMs. |
| Java Application Servers | Glassfish V2/V3, Tomcat 5/6, Jetty 6/7 |
| Operating Systems | Windows/x86, Mac OS X/x86, Linux/x86 |
1 JRuby does not work with GNU GCJ and thus GCJ is unsupported.
